From January 20 to 23, 2024, the second edition of Wine in Venice will take place in the splendid halls of the 16th-century Scuola Grande della Misericordia in Venice, bringing Italian (but not only) wine excellences to confront each other on the themes of Ethics, Innovation and Sustainability, with a special focus on the latter.

For four days, award ceremonies, meetings, wine tastings, master classes, dinners and parties will enliven the program of the kermis that was born from the desire to tell the story of wine in a different and current way. The hundreds the labels invited on the red carpet, in fact, represent realities engaged in virtuous projects, projected toward a different future, that can set an example beyond their size, from the number of bottles produced.

Similarly, twenty Italian wineries, one per Italian region, will be selected and awarded with a free dedicated exhibition space to tell about their projects, their vision, commitment and responsibility. The selection, in fact, takes place not only thanks to the quality of the “product in the glass” (certified also in this edition by the Italian Sommelier Association), but especially for having undertaken and successfully concluded projects related to the three guiding principles of Wine in Venice, namely ethics, sustainability and innovation.

The first edition of Wine In Venice was staged last January 28-30, 2023, again in the majestic halls of the Scuola Grande della Misericordia, with great success of audience and participants.
The event is produced by Winetales, Beacon, The Media Company and Venezia Unica with the media partnership of “Il Gusto.”
